Engineering Experience
I am Anotida Gidion Damba, a software and systems engineer focused on building practical digital systems from concept to deployment. My experience has developed through designing full-stack platforms, backend APIs, database-driven applications, desktop systems, cloud-storage tools, and containerized environments.
Through projects such as AutoCare Manager, AGD HomeCloud, SecurePass Analyzer, the AGD Consultancy Platform, and the AGD Developer Portal, I have worked across interface design, backend logic, authentication, role-based access control, database architecture, Docker environments, deployment, debugging, and long-term system maintenance.
Building complete projects has taught me that software engineering extends beyond writing individual features. It includes understanding how components communicate, how information moves through the system, how users are protected, how failures are handled, and how the application continues operating after deployment.
My professional experience in graphic design also shapes the way I approach software. I care about how systems work, but also how they communicate, feel, and guide the people using them. My goal is not simply to produce code, but to engineer systems that remain understandable, maintainable, secure, and useful.
